I've heard people say to feed Bettas only once a day, and others claim it best to feed these fish 2-3 times a day. Which is better?

I've also heard to allow a fasting day for the fish.

Which method(s) is best to avoid bloating and keep everything running smoothly?

Thanks! :)

My guys get fed 1 time a day and I do fast all my fish for one day a week. There is nothing wrong with 2 times per day just watch how much they are getting. Also a varied diet helps them, I don't like pellets every day so one day they get a little frozen brine shrimp and another day frozen blood worms.

It all depends on the size betta. I Feed dry blood worms in afternoon. And about 4 pellets each for my betta's. For smaller betta's about 2-3 pellets, and a little blood worms for treated. Keep in mind bellys are same size as their eye. And I always soak pellets before feeding. And only small pellets for them.
