Hi,
1st... sorry for the double posting! Cell phones are a little difficult at times. It won't let me delete my previous threads which don't include the pics!

Here goes with my problem...
I have a female betta that seems ill. I have quarantined her & given her some Mela fix medication but she seems to be getting worse.
Her right side is ok but her left side is in rough shape! Her left eye seems to have a film over it causing it to look blurry & sunken in. She has red sores on her face and a white scalyish type of growth on her throat. I tried taking pics but they didn't turn out the best. Anyone have an idea of what is going on?

What kind of tank is she in.??? Is it a bowl

Its a Marina tank... under 5 gallons but more than 2. She used to be in a heated 22 g so I have a heater (2-10 g) in there with her.

I would recommend either Paraguard or Neoplex by Seachem or see what's available at your local store. The issue with some medications they are designed to either treat gram negative or positive infections where as some are designed to eliminate both, so read the labels.

Same answer as before.

If that tank doesn't have a filter, I believe it is ammonia burns. Since it went from good tank to poor tank ;( Water Changes every day

Ammonia burns don't lead towards secondary infections like the cloudy eye, this is a clear cut case of a bacterial infection.
