I'm upgrading to a 10 gallon guppy fry tank and I'm using established media and I wanted to know If I could use this sand :

And will it cause a mini cycle

Honestly, i know its a small tank but buying PFS ( pool filter sand) from a pool store is way better. It is heavy so it settles quickly and it dosent get stuck in you filter.

Edit: it is also way cheaper.
At the petstore its $20 for 20lbs
At the pool store its (around) $20 for 50lbs

I agree with bubbles, that would be better substrate and it's cheaper but you could use it if you wanted to :)

There is allot of people that don't use any substrate at all in fry tanks, i'm not one of them but I've heard that its easier to clean that way without the hassle and having to worry about whether the fry are going to be sucked up during cleaning

Well when you have a bare bottom tank you grow algea on the bottom an the fry are often scared of there reflections
