A long time ago, I came here for help on a nitrate problem. you helped me solve it by doing a bunch of things. One of them was to remove the bio wheels from my emporer filter. I did remove one, but was nervous to do both at the same time. So, I have one in there since I did this. Which by the way was easily 8-12 months ago. I have not had a nitrate issue since. Can I get rid of the one bio wheel, of completly remove that whole filter setup??

How much LR and sand do you have in the tank? What critters do you have?

For fish i have
6 line wrasse
spotted cardinal
yellow watchman goby
foxlace one spot
lots of different starfish, crabs, snails

If you haven't been to this site since last year, a lot of things have changed. There is no longer a "my info" page.
Well, the One spot foxface needs a 70G tank.
I would leave the boiwheel in, until you add some more LR.

Ok, I will leave the filter on.

The foxface was given to me and he has been a great addition since I put him in.

One more thing, I have been thinking about changing my lighting. All I have now is a coralife compact flourecent. any suggestions? I dont want to spend a lot of money.
