I would love to add a blue shrimp to my tank but I am worried about my red claw crab fighting with it. Is this likely to happen?
Also, I don't have any plants in my tank just coral ornaments. Would this be a problem?

Are there fish in the tank? If so, what kind?
Not sure about the crab though.
Those aren't cheap for neocardina shrimp (~$7 each).

1 red claw
3 red platys
2 gold gurami
1 powder blue dwarf gurami
3 black widows
1 black tetra
1 penguin tetra
2 albino cory cats
1 bulldog pleco
2 electric blue rams

I'm not 100% about the crab, but I would be pretty concerned about the gouramis just eating the dwarf shrimp! The adults top out at around an inch, and the ones you are shipped or buy would probably be closer to 3/4 inch.

I'd only trust the corys around the shrimp. A new shrimp tank project could be in your future, though. A 2.5-5gal established tank with plants would look nice in a lot of places around the house
