Bottom feeders/ alge eaters for 29g aggressive

I am in the begging stages of cycling my 29g, so Im at the research part. I am planning on tigar barbs and either a convict of firemouth. I need somehting for the bottom strata and I was thing a bottom feeder but I dont know what will hold up in an aggressive tank. I dont want a Pleco because I do not think it will be truely happy in a 29g. So help me out, Im stumped. Thanks in advanced.

if the tank were bigger. maybe a rubber lipped pleco but definitely not a common... clown loach needs at least a 55g tank

ya that';s true that clown loach needs bigger tank,but at the same time it will have to be remember that you can't introduce other bottom feeders in such a aggressive tank....

How bout an asian bumblebee catfish? Maybe too aggressive for the tigar barbs, plus I dont know how big their mouth gets.
