Hey guys,

Just would like some tips and helping info. I have never breed any fish and I'm going to use them as feeder fish.

Thanks in advance

Hi Sebby

Gups Store sperm from 3-6 months and can birth fry when they see fit. This is the same with all, if not most freshwater livebeaers. Truth be told most people find themselves overrun with fry and pregnant guppy females. In short they breed themselves & frequently.

If you got a female from a tank with males present, expect fry.

Guppies are pretty easy to breed. basically, all you have to do is put them in a tank together, male and female and they will breed. however you have to have a ratio of 1 male for every 3 females or else the male will harass the female too much.

Ehh, not necessarily, this is one of those inch per gallon type misconceptions, when line breeding I've kept single male female pairs together for upwards of a year with no harm to either. Constant breeding throughout.
