I have 4 mollies, one dalmation, one black lyretail, one yellow, and one yellow sailfin (i think) i think the female yellow molly is pregnant is it common behaviour for the male ( sailfin ) to nip at her pectoral fins, chase her and for his dorsak fin stick up and fan out ?

I believe it is common behavior. Do you only have one male? Males can stress out female mollies if there aren't that many females.

The fin that will be sticking out towards her is a modified dorsal fin known as a gonopodium, which most livebearers have evolved. He will bump alongside her (nip at her pectorals) while moving this to breed with her. So yeh, sounds like they are breeding!
