Hi all. I noticed a couple of week ago small green spots on my rocks and now they're spreading. Is this just a build up of algae starting or something else?? Just seems a really bright green. Any help please :)

Looks like algae to me. Algae is encouraged easily with an excess of nutrients and light. Healthy plants are the easiest way to keep it under control along with less light.

Thx for the replies guys. I do have a few plants in the tank and it also catches a bit of light during the day unless I keep the curtains closed!! I've tried wiping it off with my finger, didn't work but does come off with a bit of a scrub with a toothbrush. Will I be on just scrubbing it off when it appears?
