Hi, I'm new to forum with a question I havent been able to find an answer to. Does anyone know what this bump is on the anal vent area of my guppy.?There's no gravid spot associated with this but it looks female to me.

It seems to me to be a prolapsed uterus. I have not seen it before but have read about it and googling pics seems to be it.

Sometimes they can recede back in but it is also possible she might need to be euthanized. Also if she survives try putting her into a location which doesn't have any males.

I would do a good sized pwc to make sure that the fish has every opportunity to have the least amount of stress and best chance to heal.

Thanks for the info. I hate the idea of euthanasia but may have to use that clove oil that's been sitting on the shelf. She seems healthy otherwise. Interacting with the group etc. Eric j. Thanks again
