Two part question
What are the tracers you see when you look at Actinic lighting?

I currently have (1) 250W MH 10K and (2) 96W Actinic 03, but all softies, except for a big torch. I am thinking about changing to a 12K MH for asthestics. Water parameters are A+ in a 2 yr old tank. What is difference of usealbe light compared to 10K and a 12K? Thought I might get more colors out of a 12K, but don't want to compromise what is needed by the critters.
Right now I know it may not be a big deal, but I do want to go to other LPS and SPS soon. I am thinking I should should just stay with what I've got. Which BTW, I am very happy with.
Tank is a 100 gal BF.
