CA Blackworms or Tubifex?

These are the only live foods available around here, and I would like to be absolutely certain what they are. Shop owner insists they are bloodworms, but they are definitely not. I thought they were tubifex a few days ago, until I read about California blackworms, which look very similar. Supposedly, any worms I buy around here in California that look like this should be blackworms...So, do you guys think they are blackworms or nasty tubifex?

These are the only foods I have been able to get my scarlet badis to eat, so I really hope they are not tubifex.

That's good to hear. I know tubifex carry all kinds of nasties, but blackworms are relatively clean.
