Calculating TDS from GH + KH ?

Hi, I would like to know the TDS of my tap water.

Can those parameters give an idea of the TDS ?

PH: 7.0
GH: 5
KH: 2
NH3: 0
NO2: 0
NO3: 0
PO4: 0

No, they cant. You will be surprised at the numbers you see...Some see 100 other over 600+

So there are other solids in water than GH and KH ?

I'll wait until I recieve my TDS tester, and I'll buy salted/RO water until I have it...

Yes, minerals, salts, metals,cations and anions etc. In well water TDS found in there is as high as 1000-1400. With something like that you will be burning a lot of money running a RODI unit.

Good water for corals is 0 TDS after the end result of your RODI unit. The salt mix like reef crystal put back everything that is needed for coral/fish.

I think here water is very pure, maybe between 100-400ppm.. wow, 1k tds, you're very unlucky

I don't have 1000TDS I said folks with well water sometime have that high tds lol Pure water is 0 TDS...lol
