can i make anything out of this?

so this is one of those bubble lamps that hold water, and i was just wondering if icould make anything beneficial for my 55 gal bw tank.. i just want a new project... any ides are welcome

it would make a cool protien skimmer, or maby fluidized bed. or maby you could use it to combine 2 tanks like a hamster tunnel sorta thing, that would be awsome!

Is that glass? Looks like a bong. Also looks too long and skinny to make a good FBF. I say ya get some really tall growing plant and put it in the bottom and try to get it to grow up the tube. Some shrimp in there and walla thatd be a cool little display tank. Would be a pita to clean and lighting might be tricky, fun experiment though.
