Can Monte Carlo without co2?

Can Monte Carlo grow with flourish excel as well as other ferts and high lighting? Everything besides co2

I had an idea it would but these are on deep tanks so that probably brings it back to moderate lighting levels.
 
You'd be asking for problems going high light with no co2. Algae will take over
 
So even if I removed algae from the tank myself or added amano shrimp to get rid if it, would it be possible to grow without co2?

Even if you could have an algae free environment, the lack of an ample carbon source will impact their growth (limited growth, turn yellow). An experiment with CO2/No CO2 can be found here.

If u want high light, pressurised co2 is a must. High light set up are expensive and if not managed properly turn to a giant ball of algae extremely quick.
