Can shrimp be shipped from Canada to the US?

(This seemed like the most appropriate section to post this in- If it isn't, please move!)

I'm trying buying some Yellow Shrimp from Canada, but he's unsure if he can ship over boarders. Does anyone have experience shipping aquaria from Canada to the US before? Is a transhipper required?

legally you need to use a transhipper since they will have all the paper work needed to get it though legally. there are many people in the usa who have yellow shrimp for sale.

another way many people do it though still i dont think is legal is have it shipped close to the board drive over and pick it up but if you are not close that doesnt help much.
