I currently have one glass diffuser and an atomic diffuser from GLA, is there a way to boil or clean them to restore the misting effect? GLA diffusers are expensive and hate the thought of throwing it away. Thanks.

yes, you can. the most effective way to clean it is to go to a dentist because they have the professional cleaner that you would need. but for most people, it would just be as simple as bleach+water bath. i know people who use 100% ethanol to clean it as well.

I highly doubt my dentist would clean my aquarium tools; I know its not covered under my insurance too. I need a more diy resolution.

You can try using hydrogen peroxide and a soft bristle brush during each WC. That should keep anything from accumulating on it. I've also heard of bleach or vinegar being used before, although I would look up what other people have been using.
