All is good so far. Im on my 3rd day of 86 degrees.

Throughout the process the GBR has remained active and hungry. It almost seems like she's not even effected by her illness. Must be a strong girl. All of her ich spots have cleared, and it was pretty bad for a couple days. Now I'm thinking about getting another male. Not immediately, of course, but once I've run the tank at this temp for another week.

I just wish I knew what caused the death of the male GBR. He showed no signs of illness, ich, darting, lethargy, until about 8 hours before he died. And even then he just hid in a cave for a bit, then stayed at the top of the aquarium, which caught my attention.

GBR's love heat, they actually do very well kept at 82F all the time which is another reason she is perking up so.
