Can't tell if my chalice is ok or not. Sometimes it gets white patches before new "eyes" appear. Couple days ago it got a large portion of white and I haven't done anything to the chemistry of the tank. Any opinions if this is new growth related or the start of its recession? Pic from Wednesday and today.

Doesn't look good. Corals should be here within the hour and at that time I will try dipping. Thanks for asking :)

When I do it to sps, I glue the receding area to stop the Rtn.

Yeah that makes sense and I could see doing it on SPS but the way it's happening on my chalice in not sure it would help, idk. Think I'm gonna give it a day to see if the dip helped and if not possibly frag it this weekend.

Thanks again for all the advice offered. :)
