Your town appears to be close to St. Louis so I searched there. If you just hold out for a Craigslist deal you will find something you like. I saw a 55 gallon on that page for $50, that's pretty cheap. HN1 and I held out for a while and ended up getting a 120 gallon with stand for $150. Ebay might work too but make sure to only check auctions that are in your area since you'll have to pick up. Also, it's garage sale season! Check your local paper on the weekends and be prepared to get up extra early on Saturday mornings to get the best deals.
