Chemical Filter and trace elements

Hi, are there any good chemical filters that do not remove trace elements (from almond leaves to be exact)

I know purigen doesnt but was wondering if there are any other.

You don't really need to run any chemical filtration to be honest (in most basic set ups). I run purigen in my tanks because it polishes the water like no other, helps with nitrates, lasts a long time and you can recharge it.

Actually Purgen will remove the tannins that are leached out of almond leaves which is where the good properties are at. I wouldn't run any chemical filtration if your using almond leaves.
