Hi, i have a problem, well... a query ... i really want some RCS, but i have 4 discus and 3 yoyo loach, i have a 275litre tank, well planted with amazon sword pants, bogwood mainly...
as i said, i really want some RCS was wondering how i could try make them settle in? ... i understand i'm going to lose some, but was hoping i could buy enough shrimp to get a colony started so they breed faster than they get eaten?
How can i accomadate them in my tank?

use lots of java moss. You will MIGHT not see any RCS swimming around because their hiding in fear of being eaten. My RCS population is pretty active and swims around freely. Your population will grow very slowly.

Expensive fish snacks.

It will be hard to keep any RCS with your current stock.

A+ for getting java moss for them to hide in if you do try it.

it would make the most sense to get a small tank(like 5-10 gallons)and breed them in there, then toss any excess in your bigger tank

I bought 3, and noone in my tank will eat them. How long should it be till I notice more? Its a 10 g and planted. Sorry to steal your thread just curious

the only way you will keep them alive is with something like a sudo satellite breeder box, otherwise they don't stand a chance even with java moss.
