I have a small aquarium with only 2 cherry shrimp and a tiny baby snail. It has been set up for about 3 months. I follow all water change suggestions and parameters are all within normal.
Interestingly, my two cherry shrimp look completely different now, as they have grown. One is a beautiful deep red color, the other seems "pale". They are both active as ever.
Could it be a health problem? A gender difference? I couldn't tell them apart when they were little.
I'm new to this and want to make sure I'm doing it properly before any potential additions.
Also, would the shrimp be safe with a few little guppies?
Thanks for all the help!
