I just ordered a few sticks of cholla wood for my planted tank and wondered if there is anything I should do to prep it when it comes? I liked the way it looked online and had to get some. I ordered it from Amazon

Not much to do to it. It will float for a few days. If you don't like to watch them clanking around the tank, soak them in a bucket of water until they do sink.

Yup, not much more than that. Did you check with the seller to make sure it hasn't been treated with anything and is aquarium safe?

It said that it was organic and untreated. Apollo Supply was the seller and had pretty good ratings and reviews so I went with it.

I stuffed moss (Java?) into the cholla wood crevices, snipped off the excess, and let it grow out.
