So I went to a small reef store and he had a cute lil clam. About an inch by and inch. He said I should be ok with 2 T5's 24w. Will it be ok ? I heard they need alot of light.

what kind of clam? i wouldnt try it id go with a 4 bulb at a min. even then it may need to be up real high in the tank

Is it a 20g long tank?
I would love to see a picture of this little guy I have never seen one that small! Is it blue or goldish brown? But yes you do need a lot of light a t5 4 bulb would be much better but if you placed it up at the top with a t5 2 bulb you might be ok.
