After struggling with blue green slime algae foronths I finally just gave up after losing my ffourth and fifth fish in one day I moved all the living ones to my other tank last night and emptied my 20 gallon Tank and cleaned/Cloroxed it because I read some where that it was the sure fire wag to get rid of it.... I simply out it in my tub put Clorox in it and then water and drained it and then rinsed it with water 2 more times... That brings me to my current conundrum.... How do I know all the Clorox is out?? Any help is appreciated...

P.S before people ask no I don't plan on cycling.....

I would use a salt water wash followed with a couple rinses and a dry. Then a vinegar wash followed by a couple rinses and a dry. My thoughts are that using vinegar last would be ideal because it is at least food grade.

sorry for lag. I would probably use 50-50 water-vinegar your tank should already be sparkly clean from the other two washes.
