Clown loach not growing why???

My clown loch is not growing had him for 2 months now and nothing same size any problems? 55 gallon tank

What do you feed? Water parameters?

It might already be stunted. They tend to grow slower once they reach 5" or so. If you keep it it'll eventually need a huge tank and they do better in groups.

Thanks I was just wondering because it has not Grown since I got it Maybe a tiny bit but that's it

At about 5 inches is when they grow incredibly slow, like one inch every 9-10 months which is why the prices for them are crazy the bigger they are

Clown loaches are very susceptible to impaired growth as a result of nitrates so keep an eye on that
