I'm going to be doing a sodastream co2 system for my planted 15 gallon. I was wondering what would be the best regulator under $120, and that will fit an Australian standard co2 cylinder,
Thanks

U can get a kegking for $80 or u can get an ista for about 120-$140 or an azoo for $140+

Steer clear of wyin regs or co2 barn as they are generally abit cheap and nasty.

What ista regulator would you recommend.
Thanks

Would you recommend a dici regulator?

Are you able to put a solenoid on the ista regulator?

On the ISTA one I have it has the solenoid and connection for the ph controller to turn it on / off. Been reliable. Can’t remember on cost though as package deal.

This looks like the one. Before I forget - make sure you have a needle valve. I got ones with a splitter to do both sides of tank (4ft long) as the ISTA valves are too coarse - you breath on it to change the bubble count lol.

Edit - I see it says it has a needle valve, definitely check what you get as mine didn’t. Maybe it’s an older model.

What splitter do you use dela? If I get rid of the 60g I’ll need one to run the 2 new tanks

How about an azoo regulator. Which ista regulator should I get I do want one with a solenoid. Is there any other suggestions

Hi, I'm pretty sure it was from a UK site that Caliban put me onto. You could PM him. Postage was cheap from memory. I just measured the CO2 line size and looked up splitters I think - was going to email them to check but got it right in the end.
