Converting from saltwater to fresh

Converting from saltwater to fresh. How long should I wait after drying out a saltwater tank and putting fresh water in it before adding plants and fish or just normal cycle?

I converted one last year. I scrubbed the crap out of it and used a razor blade to scrape the glass. I would add a bleach soloution personally, but if your not comfortable with that you can use white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly after you clean it. If you use bleach rinse very well, then after allow it to air dry. Rinse again, then fill with water and prime. You can repeat the last step twice to be safe

I used a razor blade to scrape the small barnacles off the the filter and scrubbed the whole tank with white vinegar and then rinsed well and mine is doing fine as a freshwater tank now
