So I put a piece of blanched cucumber in my tank for the first time for slimer (my BN Pleco) and he didn't really seem interested in it at the time. A few hours later I went in and the neons were going nuts after the skin of the cucumber (they were fed at the same time I put it in so they were not starving). They didnt want the meaty part inside, but they picked the skin clean off. Once the neons stripped it slimer got his share.
Anyone ever hear of neon doing this sort of thing.
