Cycle Questions

Hey Guys Sorry to bug again but I am having issues with my cycle I think. I have had my tank 6+ weeks and I am doing water changes every few days to keep the Ammonia at .25 but I still am not seeing any NitrItes or NitrAtes, why? I am doing a cycle with fish, I know not good. I have a 29G tank with a EX70 filter, a submersable heater, and Air pump. In the tank I have 3 swordtails, 4 danios, 1 rainbow shark, 3 tetras, and a clown loach.

I wish I could help but I am haven the same problem with a 60 gal tank no cycle after 2 months and only read ammonia no nitrites or nitrates.

It takes significantly longer to cycle with fish than fishless.. you're just going to have to be patient and keep up on the water changes.
