When cycling your tank do you need to be doing water changes??

Well i Don't even have a tank yet I'm just new at this and trying to gather as much info as possible before i jump into it! But i would be cycling without fish

With fish yes, without fish no, unless you overdosed with ammonia, then you may need to do a small water change to reduce the ammonia.

Search "fishless cycling" here. There some great info that will save you a ton of headaches.
