Hi Everyone,

I awoke today to a a dead floating guppy, and I haven't got a clue what happened to her.

It's a mixed aquarium, mollies, tetras couple of dwarf guaramis. But as far as guppies are concerned, there was only her and her male counterpart. I've not seen any disease indicators, I've had her for about 5 months, and she was one of the biggest fish in the tank. Has anyone else had a similar experience involving a mysterious dying fish?

Did a 10% water change last Sunday and all water parameters were spot on and have been for months.

Any ideas?

Could be many factors, but you mentioned also having another male guppy in the tank. Usually you will want to have a least a couple females to one male, to help distribute the sexual harassment your male guppy gives to the females.

Good point. I have 10 guppy fry growing up in a fry net at the moment, fingers crossed they'll be mostly females. Mr Guppy will have to keep it in his pants until they're old enough
