deep enough sand bed?

Ok, just added another #100 of marine sand to my system. I have 3-3 1/2" of sand through 60-70% of my tank. I did not want to move my rock to add. Is this enough?
Hopefully the sand I already have will seed the sand I just added.

Probably is enough, although I generally recomend aiming for 4-6" to get the nitrate benefit.

I think you can get denitrification benefits with abut 1.5", so yeah, I think it's enough.
