I'm cycling an aquaponics system right now and I have plants in the media, no fish yet. I'm having some issues and I was wondering if anyone can identify what is causing the yellow leaves. I'm guessing it's nitrogen, but I can't add fish yet. The water is a bit cold (55-65F) and it's not fully cycled yet.

I've added Alaska Fish fertilizer and chelated iron, as well as some potassium carbonate.

I"m hoping the pictures will help.

Oh, currently they're in a hyrdroponics (eventually aquaponics) grow bed ona flood/drain cycle. Lighting is 2x48" 6500K florescent @ ~12 hours daily.

They also receive some sunlight through the window.
