Dempsey eating habits

My female Dempsey has odd eating habits. She doesn't seem real interested in pellet but, picks at the substrate all the time. She does tear up some Omega One veggie wafers though. Her color is good, and seems fairly active. Is this normal?

Use smaller pellets

Mine did the same thing, I got larger floating pellets.

Well, she'll be going soon anyway. No room in my tank. I'm going to let her grow out a little more then give her away to a friend.
