So my betta died of dropsy, and I'm now probably going to get different fish. But since dropsy is a symptom, not a cause, and you can't be 100% sure what caused it, I wanted to make sure there's no diseases living in the tank before I put more fish in. What should I do? I do have some plants and a snail, but can move them to a different tank to use harsher treatments on the one that had dropsy, however I would want to disinfect the plants and snails too, just to make sure nothing is living on them that could infect fish.
