what pleco?
fish dont grow to the tank size they are in. any clue what kind of plecos they are?

Parotocinclus spilosoma Gold Spot Dwarf Pleco
They grow fat and don't get very long compared to reg pleco. There are several varieties of dwarf pleco's. Short and fat. I have one in my 10 gallon tank and it is very short and very fat and is the ugliest fish I have ever seen, but I know it won't get to much bigger to fast. Please feel free to look them up.
