One thing I learned about Bettas is they LOVE small spaces, even if it hurts their fins! I made this safe Betta bed out of my old sponge filter and he’s in here all the time! He’s living the life.

How neat! Is this suctioned to the top of your tank?

Yea, the suction cups came with my sponge filter but they don’t stay on, so I used them for this.

No he’s not dead, he’s resting in his bed which Bettas love to do. If he was dead he’d be floating at the top of the tank. Yes I meant diy

This Is a cool idea and an interesting material to use for such a job with secondary benefits such as providing a home for the Betta as well as beneficial bacteria!

Have seen me girls sleeping on top of the sponge-filters but this is bringing it to the next level.

Nice one
