Hello everyone,
just had a quick question as I see more and more snails appear in my new tank, I don't really mind them as long as they don't eat my plants or harm my fish, but I have 3 otocinclus in there and I was wondering if there's a chance they might get out-competed for algae by the snails and hence starve to death, and if so, what can I do to ensure my otos don't starve to death. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Seemingly, seemingly. The most important job along with PWCs, is feeding the aquarium appropriately. You and others in the household control food distribution.
The otos will get their share of an algae wafer. Snails and otos will graze 24/7 on biofilm and algae. Yes, they eat the same food, but there's enough for all parties if you're monitoring it.
