I am rearranging my aquarium and had a question about plant light. I have a few cichlid stones which are great. I would like to have some plants growing out from the rocks. The only problem with this is the bottom 6-8" of the plant would get no light. The tops would get good amounts I have 3 wpg. Would this work or does the whole plant need light?
Do the bottom of plants need light?
