I got the pure ammonium chloride for cycling my axolotl tank. Will this stuff work?

Yes Dr. Tim's bacteria work. Add the whole bottle, then add in a several drops of ammonia every day for 1-2 weeks. Eventually all ammonia and nitrite will be zero, and there should be a lot of nitrate.

I was asking about the ammonium, not the bacteria...

It worked for me. It was really easy to dose to the right ppm.
