Drilling 10 gal tank?

Hey guys i have a 10 gallon tank just sittin around and i was thinking about making it into a fuge. The only thing is that i'm not sure if i can drill it because it is tempered glass.. what do you guys think?

You dont have to drill it for it to be a fuge, just get a submersible pump like a mag and use that.

if it is tempered glass than you cna NOT drill it. (well ya can but youll have a thousand pieces of glass to clean up)

is the whole tank tempered or just the bottom? buy a new 10 that is not tempered..

Well i'm not sure but i got the tank from wallmart, and theres a little tab only on the bottom portion of the tank that says tempered...

Usually that means only the bottom is tempered.... But there are exceptions to that rule.

email the company and ask them... I have done that before and got a quick reply.

they can't drill tempered either... And if it breaks your SOL, just like if you drilled it.
