Drinking water ok???

I used to use RO DI water that I would get from my LFS for my top offs. Now for some reason they only carry salt RO DI water. I do not want to use tap water, but I would like to know if purified drinking water is ok?

I have to think that it is atleast better than tap water.

go to walmart and get RO water, it has a purple cap, only .58 cents a gallon, or buy a unit on ebay. HTH

I have been using purified water from the local grocery store for both top-offs and water changes. The label says "prepared by Reverse Osmosis" on it.
Been doing this for 5 months now and no problems yet! I even tested it for PO4 and it came up zilch!
Haven't bought an RO/DI unit cause my water bill is $80.00 a month. Our water is cleaned via RO then they add chlorine gas and then to my faucet it goes. Thus the high price to pay for RO out of all your faucets.
