Can you use liquid ferts with carbon in your filter?

Yep, but keep in mind that carbon wears out within a month so unless youre regularly replacing it, then its likely exhausted.

Cool, thanks! Every website I went to said no. Also I don't replace mine every month as not to deplete the BB and I am tring to purchase a C4. I still have a lot of research to do also. I just planted my first plant an Anacharis Saturday (have had fake for 4 years ). I am super nervous that I won't be able to grow anything at all. I am also worried if I my led strip won't cut it.
