So I bought a dwarf hair grass pack a month ago and I've noticed that pieces of paper it floats around at times and it getting smaller . The lighting in my tank is bright . I'm planning on getting leaf zone tomorrow to make it get bigger than smaller I hope . Will it help ? What's causing the pieces to fall apart ?

DHG thrives under Med-High Light with CO2.

High Light means high PAR value, not how bright the light looks to our eyes. Most stock lighting is considered low light.

DHG can use
Root tabs,
API LeafZone
Flourish comprehensive

And Flourish Excel but injected CO2 is better.

DHG is a tricky plant if you don't use ferts and CO2.

What substrate and light are you using ?

Did you separate it out ?

Ah ok. Yeah spread it apart , replant and consider sand next time.

If you don't feed it or give it Carbon it will probably die, no matter what light you have. Study up on what it needs.
