dying mystery snails

In my 65 gal goldfish tank with 6 small fancies, mystery snails do not last more than 2 months; however, my neuritis are doing just fine and growing. I am very aggressive with water changes and water parameters are all normal. Any ideas?

There is a fair amount of green algae to eat.

Are the goldfish picking on the snails? You also have to feed them algae wafers or veg mystery snails don't eat a lot of algae.

I put zucchini and cucumber in the tank several times a week. No, the goldfish have no interest in any if the snails.

Do they close up at the bottom and not move?

Yes, after about 2 months

Have you had any ammonia or high nitrate at anytime? Did you do the sniff test as sometimes the snail can sit idle for a few days.
