Ember Tetras

Has anyone ever had these fish before? What are your experiences with them? Could they fare well with Ram cichlids? I saw these fish at a fish store and they looked cool. Thanks

I have a small school of 7 in a 10 gallon. Mine are super shy and I really only see them while feeding.
They are super small, so I would be hesitant to put them with any fish capable of putting them in their mouth.

Also, you need to get food that is small enough for them to handle. I typically feed them flake that I've ground up into almost a powder.

They could do well with rams. They're good nano fish but I have seen some larger specimens.

They look neat. Maybe I'll consider them if I get a nano tank one day as I don't want to put them in my 30 gallon at the moment.
