Feeding a Canary Blenny

I added one of these to my tank recently and it looks horribly thin. It doesnt seem too interested in prepared foods such as flakes or pellets and I havent seen it eat frozen mysis or anything else. I feed mysis once or twice weekly soaked in Garlic guard and it didnt really tank to that.

any ideas?

live brine maybe to start. or if you got it from your lfs, ask them what they feed.

Blennys love live brine from my experiences. Maybe that'll get him started. I think you can let them swim in garlic or vitamins prior to feeding, but live food will get him started I believe.

Also be aware he has a painful bite. Careful if handling while netting. Otherwise, it won't attack your hand in the tank.

thanks a lot. Ill hatch some brine out tonight. I havent fed live brine in a while since most of my fish take other easier to feed food. Yeah I didnt realise he was venemous till after I got him, I did some reading and it sounds like thier bite can have a nasty zest to it ... Ill be careful thanks!!
