When i feed my tank with frozen foods, Emerald Marine cusine or somthing like that i noticed that it makes my water cloudy because of all the water in the food. Because I dont have to many filter feeders in my tank this is what i do, I defrost the whole package put it in a strainer and run RO water through it to clean it out, removing all the tiny particals and keeping the shrimp, clam meat, algae, and everthing else they put in there. Then i put the food in a small tupperware container, put more RO water to keep it liquid instead of blobs of food and refreeze. Now you have a real clean mixture of just meat instead of that cloudy liquid aswell. Now if you have clams and various other filter feeders im sure that you can clean half the package and mix it back in with the rest.
